Fabric requirements for this table runner:

Blue fabric: 1 yard or scraps totaling that amount

Background fabric: ¾ yard

Border, binding: 2/3 yard

Backing and batting: piece 24” x 50”

The sample runner shown at the right is a “scrappy

project” and used many blue fabrics. It can

certainly be made with just a few fabrics and be

beautiful.

Other things to bring to class:

-Sewing machine in good working order

-Ruler 6” x 12” or similar

-Marking pencil

-Template plastic

-Usual quilting supplies: rotary cutter, mat, rulers,

pins and scissors

-A smile
